I’ve done a preliminary self test myself to see what’s what. All these people whining really don’t realize what’s OP because they haven’t fully unlocked everything yet to see.
Assault, Heavy, Officer and Specialists deal 50 damage when meleeing someone from the front, 75 damage from behind.
I’m not sure how to calculate Health Regen for classes cause I’m not a dataminer but maybe someone can get the stats for it. Specialists appear to have faster Regen than other classes due to their lower health, and Heavy appears to have slower Regen due to their higher health.
Saber Hero/Villain damage with no star cards:
Darth Vader deals 120 damage from the front, 140 from behind. That’s before even popping his Focused rage damage boost.
Rey deals 110 damage from the front, 130 from behind. That’s before even popping her damage boost. Also her mind trick can NOT be blocked like other force powers.
Luke, Kylo Ren, and Darth Maul deal 100 damage from the front, 120 from behind. Kylo Ren is the only hero without any form of damage reduction or sustain, and his Frenzy attack will sometimes miss on players who are crouched or smaller targets like Yoda. Darth Maul can only block during his Spin Attack, just aim reticule at enemies head and it will deflect. He also has unlimited stamina.
Yoda deals 80 damage from the front, 100 from behind. He also can’t block saber attacks.
Assault
A280 - Head 63 (x3) = 189, Chest 33 (x3) = 99
Cr2 - Head 32, Chest 17
EL16HFE - Head 93, Chest 49
Vanguard - 294 anywhere you hit, damage drops off considerably fast the further away you are from target.
Vanguard SLUG - Head 228, Chest 120, damage is consistent for a considerable amount of range before damage begins to drop off.
Heavy
DC15LE - Head 30, Chest 16
FWMB10K - Head 46, Chest 24
TL50 - Head 38, Chest 20
Officer
S5 - Head 127, Chest 67
Blurrg1120 - Head 70 (x4) 280, Chest 37 (x4) 148
Se44 - Head 65, Chest 34
Specialist
IQA11 - Head 125, Chest 66
A280CFE - Head 63, Chest 33
NT242 - haven’t unlocked yet been focusing on other classes I’ll update later
One thing to keep in mind is damage drops off the further away you are from target, unless you are using Specialist weapons. Specialist weapons maintain damage over a greater distance compared to other weapons.
The CR2 is no where near as unbalanced as people make it out to be, as a matter of fact, it is weaker than any other weapon in the game. The fire rate is the only thing that allows it to compete, and taking out people at range requires pulsing the trigger.
The A280 for assault is actually a much better overall weapon than the CR2 with outstanding damage and range. If you can aim well, it’s a better weapon. Same can be said for the EL16HFE, which is perfect for counter sniping snipers and decimating targets running up on you, just don’t miss your shots.
The Blurrg absolutely destroys people up close and at range. The officer class has some of the best weapons and most damaging weapons in the game. The Se-44 with rapid fire is much better than the CR2. Don’t believe me? Go unlock the rapid fire attachment for it and try it out.
The TL50 has a “larger cooling cell” allowing longer sustained fire than the CR2 before having to reload, has more damage, and only sacrifices a fraction of the CR2s fire rate.
The FWMB deals considerably more damage than any other weapon with a similar fire rate, except the officers Se-44 with rapid fire.
The DC15LE is lacking in damage but makes up for it with pinpoint accuracy and sustained fire, in comparison to other heavy weapons. It could use a small damage buff.
Regular Vanguard is not unbalanced as people make it out to be. It rewards skillful aim in dire situations at a very close distance, and damage drops off considerably fast the further away from the target you are. “High risk, high reward”
Slug Vanguard is unbalanced in the fact that it’s damage remains constant for a considerable amount of range before it begins to drop off. This is why you are getting one shot across the map.
The Specialists A280CFE semi automatic sniper, does less damage than the Officers SE44 up close lol. Same thing with the specialists IQA11 compared to the officers S5. The difference is that the specialists weapons hold their damage consistently at a greater range than the officer weapons.
If anything needs to be toned down it’s the Blurrg. The damage is crazy and it can destroy people up close or far away. The Se44 with rapid fire outperforms the Cr2, the only reason you don’t see people whining is because most haven’t unlocked it yet.

Kinda comical that Luke isn’t as good as he should be though.
Vanguard needs to be toned down.
Your weapon stats show that it’s about personal accuracy, not about a primary weapon being “OP” - 178 postsMemberNovember 28, 2017 7:45PMedited November 2017Nice work.

That’s exactly it. People who can’t aim are the ones getting shredded by CR2 and Vanguard. If the regular Vanguard didn’t kill one shot up close, it would be worthless because every other weapon in the game would have you dead before you could get off second shot, assuming perfect aim on both sides.
The SLUG Vanguard is ridiculous because it can one shot everyone but a heavy a ridiculous distance away. You don’t even have to be up close like you do with regular Vanguard.
I also find it comical that Rey is dealing more damage than other heros/villains except Vader, and that her Mind Trick can’t even be blocked like other force powers can.0 - 16 postsMemberThanks for the post, but could you clarify what value is assigned to player health so we have a context for the damage numbers?

Assault has 150 health.
Heavy has 200 Health.
Officer has 150 health but can boost it to 250.
Specialist has 100 health.
Heroes health varies.
The damage numbers are the exact amount of damage that is taken away from health when you shoot someone with a single pull of the trigger. I tested different classes against each other to make sure there weren’t any hidden modifiers (like Luke dealing more damage against Vader or Rey dealing more damage against Kylo) but I couldn’t find any indications of there being any.
Every weapon has an effective minimum range before damage begins to drop off. Maybe a dataminer can provide the hard stats from the game files for the range. Specialists damage doesn’t drop off at range like other classes weapons do.
I didn’t include damage from base weapons because DICE made them all inferior to other weapons and they won’t even let us customize them with attachments.0 - 3338 postsMemberNice work.

I’m fine with Rey being good. I’m not fine with the other Jedi being worse than they should be.
I wouldn’t doubt if they eventually made Mind Trick blockable but it isn’t a big deal to me.
Though I think I blocked Electrocute before but I’m not completely sure. - 178 postsMemberNovember 28, 2017 8:12PMedited November 2017Electrocute can be blocked i believeNice work.

Yes, I just checked it again to make sure. I could’ve sworn saber wielders couldn’t block Electrocute and only Yoda could, but it appears Electrocute can be blocked by saber wielders and Yoda. I’ll update the op.
Yoda also can’t block saber attacks by the way, only blaster and force attacks, except Mind Trick.
Heroes overall seem like they aren’t worth the battle points. They either need to be tankier or cost less. You can take a wookie warrior and destroy everyone at a fraction of the cost. - 16 postsMemberThanks for the post, but could you clarify what value is assigned to player health so we have a context for the damage numbers?

Thanks - 1217 postsMemberLuke is amazing actually. I feel like the majority of complainers want the devs to cater directly to their needs. I've been able to hold an entire team at bay with Luke. You're not using him right.

Luke isn’t bad per say, it’s just the fact that with Luke, I can stand at a door way and deflect for my teammates and then I have to rely on them to push. But if I try to charge in to open a hole, Luke gets melted crazy fast (like other heroes, especially Kylo Ren).
I can take a Wookie Warrior/Enforcer for a fraction of the battle points and clear the room by myself, where as in comparison Luke is reliant on the team to back him up.
Heroes need to be worth the battle point Cost is all most folks are saying. I don’t want them to become unkillable but they really need to be worth 6 and 8k battlepoints. The problem now is they just don’t feel like “heroes.” - 1414 postsMemberLuke is amazing actually. I feel like the majority of complainers want the devs to cater directly to their needs. This, every hero can be upgraded to be excellent, some like vader, maul, boba are good without any cards tough - 1217 postsMember

- 178 postsMemberYou need to keep in mind with saber damage that Vader swings significantly slower than any other saber hero.
From my experience, all saber attacks “stagger” the opponent. So once you begin the attack, you can just continue attacking them until they are either 1.)dead or 2.) you run out of stamina. At that point, it doesn’t matter how fast heroes swing once that first hit connects.
I don’t really notice a “significantly” slower swing time for Vader. I think this may just be perception because of his slower, bulkier movements but if you can provide some kind of hard stats with saber attack speed I’d really be interested to see that.
